Job summary

Henry Schein, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate in Jacksonville, FL to receive and process inbound freight, identify merchandise, and enter data into the Warehouse Computer System. You will sort packages by vendor, repalletize for putaway, and unload trucks using power equipment.

Responsibilities include ensuring accuracy, delivering paperwork to the Control Desk, and maintaining compliance with company standards and policies. A high school diploma and safety training are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to pass machine driver safety training for all required equipment.
• Good reading, writing, math, and computer skills.
• Good communication (written/verbal) skills.
• Detail oriented and accountable for making accurate decisions under set guidelines.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow instructions, work under stress, and handle multiple assignments.
• Ability to read fine print and differentiate products with similar characteristics (size, color, vendor code).

Responsibilities

• Receive and process all inbound freight, identify merchandise, and compare to paperwork and data.
• Sort packages by vendor and purchase order; repalletize freight as needed for putaway.
• Receive shipments into the Warehouse Computer System with correct order, item, and quantity information.
• Deliver paperwork and packing slips to Control Desk; take products to Control Desk or Supervisor for receipt.
• Unload trucks using power equipment.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.
• Meet company standards for quantity and quality; comply with WorldWide Business Standards.
• Adhere to company policies and directives regarding workplace behavior.
