Job summary

Encompass Supply Chain Solutions is seeking an Inbound Supervisor to oversee daily receiving and putaway operations at our fulfillment center in Lewisville, TX. You will lead warehouse associates, ensure accuracy, enforce safety, and drive efficiency to meet performance goals.

You will coach staff, monitor productivity, and collaborate with other departments to optimize workflows, while maintaining a clean, organized receiving area and upholding OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or relevant coursework in supply chain or logistics is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanning equipment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities. Proficient in English (verbal and written).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices in warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities, including unloading, receiving, inspection, staging, and putaway, ensuring timely and accurate processing of incoming shipments.
• Monitor employee performance, provide coaching, and conduct training to maintain high productivity and quality standards.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety procedures, and quality control standards.
• Collaborate with warehouse leadership and other departments to optimize workflow and resolve operational issues.
• Maintain an organized and clean work environment in the receiving and putaway areas.
• Monitor and report on productivity, error rates, and accuracy; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Assist in developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency.
• Schedule labor and manage timekeeping for team members to ensure adequate staffing during shifts.
• Promote a positive, team‑oriented culture and support employee engagement.
