Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Lincoln, NE is hiring a Forklift Operator to support our warehouse operations. You will move goods with forklifts and pallet jacks, maintain accuracy on storage locations, and help keep products flowing through the distribution system.

You must have at least 6 months in warehouse work, be able to work in cooler/freezer/dry environments, and be willing to work overtime. Training and safety gear are provided. Health and safety standards apply throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift or pallet jack to place pallets and load items.
• Count incoming freight and move to designated freezer areas as needed.
• Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock per work orders.
• Rotate stock and remove outdated inventory per policy.
• Inspect items for damage and ensure accuracy of data entry.
• Adhere to safety policies and complete end-of-shift paperwork.
