Job summary

Cargill in Nebraska City, NE is seeking a Forklift Operator for 1st shift (7:00am-3:30pm). This full-time role involves moving materials in production and warehouse areas, loading/unloading, and using scanners for records.

You will work in a fast-paced food production environment with PPE, overtime, and safety compliance required. Qualifications include 18+, US work eligibility, forklift operation or certification, basic math, and data entry skills.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to operate a forklift or obtain and maintain certification.
• Able to perform basic math.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) to move materials and products within production and warehouse areas.
• Load and unload trucks, storage areas, and production lines safely and efficiently.
• Use scanning tools and computer systems to complete basic records.
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Perform duties in a fast-paced production setting with PPE and physical tasks.
• Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as requested.
• Follow safety, food safety, and regulatory policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
