Expeditors in Hawthorne, CA is seeking a detail-oriented Inbound Domestic Customer Service Agent to coordinate domestic freight from origin through final delivery. You will be the primary contact for customers and offices, ensuring on-time delivery and proactive communication.

The role requires English fluency, ability to work overtime, and commuting to Hawthorne. You will interact with carriers and service providers to resolve issues and uphold SOPs while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; background check required.
• Authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship needed.
• Fluent in English, written and verbal.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Must commute to Hawthorne, CA.
• Comfortable with numbers and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor domestic shipments from pickup to final delivery.
• Provide shipment status updates and communicate delays or issues.
• Track shipments to meet service commitments and KPIs.
• Resolve issues with carriers, service providers, and Expeditors offices.
• Ensure SOPs are followed and review shipment docs for accuracy.
• Assist onboarding of new customers and SOP updates.
• Answer inquiries via phone and email professionally.
• Build strong customer relationships through proactive communication.
