Job summary

Expeditors is seeking a Warehouse Agent for a Wednesday–Sunday mid-shift in Hawthorne, CA. The role is full-time with compensation of 20–30 USD per hour. You will handle receiving, loading, storing, and processing shipment orders, while following safety procedures and using warehouse systems.

Responsibilities include inbound and outbound freight, inventory accuracy, and adherence to security guidelines. Candidates should be able to lift, stand for long periods, and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent required.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch; use proper lifting techniques.
• Successful candidates must pass a background check.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Must be able to work overtime.
• Must be able to commute to Hawthorne, CA.
• Comfortable with numbers and basic mathematical skills.
• Comfortable working in a Warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Inbound Freight: counts products, records weight, checks for damage, shortages, and discrepancies.
• Storage: optimizes space and stores items safely using system/script guidance.
• Cargo handling: ensure correct quantity/type, transport to doors with equipment, verify labels.
• Outbound Freight: verify quantity/label/address, sign documents, move goods to delivery.
• Facility/Equipment: maintain neat areas, operate equipment safely, follow OSHA standards.
• Inventory: keep records, assist in counts, may enter adjustments.
• Other Duties: repack/re-box per instructions, operate shrink-wrap equipment.
• Security: follow TSA and CCSF guidelines, detailed and compliant.
