Job summary

Southeastern Freight Lines in Memphis is seeking an Inbound Dock Supervisor to oversee dock operations and supervise dock associates assigned to the dock and/or yard. You will coordinate loading and unloading, ensure P&D processes meet timelines and safety standards.

You will establish control to close out inbound shipments on time, plan warehouse layouts, assign duties, monitor risks, and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of dock or leadership experience or completion of Southeast's Management Training Program.
• Experience supervising dock associates and coordinating loading/unloading.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dock operations and supervise dock associates assigned to the dock and/or yard.
• Coordinate activities for routing shipments and loading/unloading of freight.
• Establish control to ensure P&D units close at agreed times and handle special customer requests.
• Ensure inbound close-out timeliness and maintain loss prevention practices.
• Plan warehouse layouts, assign duties, and review work for accuracy and policy conformance.
