Job summary

Southeastern Freight Lines is seeking an Inbound Dock Supervisor to oversee dock operations, supervise dock associates, and coordinate loading/unloading of freight. You will also route shipments and ensure P&D units close at the allotted times, while maintaining loss prevention and safety standards.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years of dock or leadership experience, or completion of Southwestern’s Management Training Program. Third Shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of dock or leadership experience or completion of Southwestern’s Management Training Program.
• Strong supervision and organizational skills.
• Ability to implement loss prevention measures and process improvements.
• Experience with routing shipments and coordinating loading/unloading of freight.
• Commitment to safety and accuracy in work procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dock operations and supervise dock associates.
• Coordinate loading/unloading of freight and routing shipments.
• Ensure P&D units close at agreed times and handle special customer requests.
• Implement loss prevention plans and drive process improvements.
• Plan warehouse layout, schedule work, and enforce policies and procedures.
• Maintain focus on risks and implement adequate control.
