Job Description

How You'll Create Possibilities

As a Remote Consumer Advocate with ASI/GE Appliances, you will resolve escalated customer service issues, creating an outstanding quality service experience for GE Appliance consumers. You will advocate with multiple internal departments for reasonable and satisfactory resolutions. This is an excellent opportunity for those wanting to positively impact the owner's experience and start an exciting career!

Responsibilities include:

  • Resolving escalated customer concerns, including capturing all facts, following outlined steps, data management, and responding to inquiries.
  • Following up with customers via phone, email, or text to resolve appliance-related concerns and closing cases successfully.
  • Finding creative solutions and negotiating concessions in the best interest of customers and GE Appliances.
  • Coordinating with stakeholders like zones, dispatchers, technicians to resolve issues.
  • Gathering information, surfacing concerns, and suggesting resolutions to team leaders.
  • Completing consumer reviews for satisfaction before case closure.
  • Meeting work schedule demands with integrity and adherence to policies.

Position Requirements

What You'll Bring to Our Team

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1-year Call-Center experience
  • Minimum of 2-years Escalated Customer Service experience
  • Effective communication in English
  • Excellent written & verbal skills
  • Moderate to advanced computer skills; navigating multiple applications
  • Exceptional organizational skills and multitasking ability
  • Experience working from home (preferred)

  • Flexibility and ability to work independently
  • Active listening and questioning skills

Remote Work Environment Requirements
