Position Details:

Job Title: Inbound Customer Service Agent – Consumer Relations (Remote)

Locations: Rapid City, SD; Austin, TX; Columbia, SC; Columbus, OH; Jackson, MS; Louisville, KY; Nashville, TN; Oklahoma City, OK; Salt Lake City, UT; Sioux Falls, SD

What You'll Do:

As a Remote Consumer Advocate with ASI/GE Appliances, your role will involve resolving escalated customer service issues, advocating internally for satisfactory resolutions, and creating an outstanding service experience for GE Appliance consumers. This is an excellent opportunity for those eager to positively impact customer experiences and start an exciting career.

Initially, you will undergo a 10-week full-time training program from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (CST). Post-training, your shift will be 8 hours within the hours of 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM (CST), Monday through Friday.

After training, your responsibilities will include:

  • Resolving escalated customer concerns, documenting issues, and following resolution procedures
  • Following up via phone, email, or text to resolve appliance-related concerns
  • Negotiating and implementing concessions creatively and effectively
  • Coordinating with stakeholders such as zones, dispatchers, and technicians
  • Gathering information and surfacing concerns with suggested resolutions
  • Conducting consumer satisfaction reviews before case closure
  • Meeting work schedule demands with integrity and adherence to policies
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of call-center experience
  • At least 2 years of escalated customer service experience
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Moderate to advanced computer skills, navigating multiple applications
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Experience working from home (preferred)
