How You'll Create Possibilities

As an Inbound Customer Service Agent with ASI/GE Appliances, you will provide direct support to GE Appliances Owners with a strong focus on sales and service. Responsibilities include providing product information, registration support, as well as service, parts, delivery, and dealer location inquiries. Concierge agents will provide resolution to owner issues through troubleshooting, sales, service, referrals, and minor concessions. This position will provide limited support to Non-GE Appliance branded appliance owners.

  • Shift: 4x10 4 (days a week) x10 (hours a day) Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM (CST), (Tuesday & weekends off).
  • Base rate of $15.00/hour+ incentives based on quality scores - paid weekly.
  • 9-week full-time training: 4x10 4 (days a week) x10 (hours a day) Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM (CST), (Tuesday & weekends off). Attendance during training is mandatory.
  • Post-training schedule: same as training schedule.
  • Participate in a shift bid twice a year to change schedules within business hours of 7am-7pm CST.
After 9 weeks of training, you will use multiple Windows-based programs and applications to:
  • Drive owner-focused solutions for customer issues; receive calls, emails, chats, or written inquiries, and provide answers related to product information, service, pre & post purchase, and sales of parts, products, and services.
  • Follow established guidelines, and when needed, collaborate to implement concession guidelines in the best interest of the owner and GE Appliances.
  • Create, update, and retrieve owner records for logging complaints, actions, and resolutions.
  • Provide feedback to Quality and Training teams to improve training materials.
  • Adhere to safety policies to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Support other business areas as directed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring To Our Team

  • At least one year of relevant customer service or sales experience.
  • Proactive, self-starting, with strong initiative and follow-through to resolve owner issues.
  • Ability to research, analyze data, and make sound decisions in escalated owner matters.
  • High attention to detail and concentration.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain professional interactions and promote brand loyalty.
  • Integrity and willingness to seek leadership guidance when needed.
  • Familiarity with web-based systems and navigating multiple applications.
  • Ability to work effectively from home.
  • Computer skills including MS Office Suite and multiple system navigation.

Requirements For Remote Work Environment

  • Dedicated, quiet, and spacious work area for equipment.
  • Reliable internet with Ethernet connection; no Satellite, Pre-paid, or DSL due to security.
  • Internet speed: Ping 50 Mbps or lower, Download 50 Mbps or higher, Upload 15 Mbps or higher.
