Job summary

Hope House Colorado Early Learning Center is hiring an Early Learning Lead Teacher (Center Teacher) to create a safe, engaging, play-based environment for children from 6 weeks to 5 years. The role involves curriculum planning, family engagement, and collaboration with staff to support all developmental domains.

You will implement Creative Curriculum and Orange Curriculum, assess progress, and help maintain licensing standards while upholding our core values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field required or eligible.
• PDIS Level 3 Credential required.
• Infant Nursery Supervisor Credential required or willingness to obtain within six months.
• Experience planning lessons for infants to five years old.
• Ability to lift infants and young toddlers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with children and families through daily communication.
• Provide nurturing, responsive interactions and health/safety routines.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons using Creative Curriculum.
• Provide daily Orange Curriculum to support spiritual development and family engagement.
• Assess development using Teaching Strategies Gold and share updates with parents.
• Collaborate with leadership to refer families to early intervention services when needed.
• Support classroom volunteers and participate in ongoing professional development.
• Ensure compliance with Colorado licensing and health regulations.
