Job summary

Hope House Colorado Early Learning Center seeks an enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to support infants through Pre-K in a brand-new, play-based program. You will help build a safe, engaging environment, maintain records, and collaborate with staff, families, and volunteers to deliver quality early childhood education.

Opportunities to participate in ongoing professional development and align with Colorado Shines standards are included. The schedule is 40 hours per week on site with day shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in an early childhood setting preferred.
• Knowledge of Colorado Shines licensing and safety rules.
• Ability to support curriculum planning and classroom management.

Responsibilities

• Model appropriate teacher/child interactions and support routines.
• Assist with daily activities, attendance, snacks, and cleanliness.
• Support curriculum planning and supervision of children.
• Adapt to different classrooms and ages to maintain ratos.
