Job summary

Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, Inc. in Cambridge, MA is seeking a lab-based in vivo scientist to join our Oncology Pharmacology team. You will execute in vivo anti-tumor efficacy and PK/PD studies in CDX, PDX, and syngeneic models to advance early-stage drug discovery.

The successful candidate will work hands-on in the lab, perform tumor measurements, sample collection, and data analysis, and communicate findings to multidisciplinary project teams in a highly matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in biological sciences with 2+ years of pharma/biotech experience.
• Experience with CDX/PDX and syngeneic tumor models.
• Hands-on in vivo studies, tumor measurements, and biomarker readouts.
• Molecular biology and flow cytometry proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Execute pre-clinical in vivo studies to test hypotheses and prove concepts.
• Develop CDX/PDX and syngeneic models to assess activity, PK/PD, and biomarkers.
• Collaborate with pharmacology to plan and run studies.
• Analyze and present results in multidisciplinary teams.
• Adhere to animal protocols and document data in ELN.
