Job summary

Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, Inc. (NIBR) in Cambridge, MA seeks an in vivo scientist to join the Oncology Pharmacology team.

You will design and execute in vivo anti-tumor efficacy and PK/PD studies in CDX, PDX, and syngeneic models to advance early drug discovery and translational data. The ideal candidate holds a PhD with 5–8 years of relevant experience, with deep knowledge of antibody drug conjugates and experience in in vivo models, cell culture, and data analysis.

Qualifications

• PhD with 5-8 years of research experience in pharma/biotech.
• Deep knowledge of antibody drug conjugates.
• Experience with CDX/PDX and syngeneic models.
• Expertise in cell culture, PCR, ELISA, western blot, and flow cytometry.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design pre-clinical in vivo studies to explore hypotheses, screen candidates, and establish proof-of-concept.
• Develop in vivo CDX, PDX, and syngeneic models to evaluate anti-tumor activity, PK/PD and biomarkers.
• Manage associate-level scientists.
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams.
• Present results within a multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure adherence to animal protocols and proper data documentation.
