Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking energetic TurboTax - Retail Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location in the United States. You will provide in-person tax preparation, tax advice, and software support while engaging with community clients to grow the local business.

Role emphasizes helping customers navigate tax needs, building lasting relationships, and leveraging marketing resources to expand your client base. Suite of benefits and a customer-first mindset are offered.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax law preferred.
• Have an active PTIN to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 1040 tax returns (federal/state).
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax location, Sundays–Saturdays, for at least 20 hours/week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Must wear a TurboTax uniform.
• Must work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to optimize deductions and refunds.
• Utilize government resources and team expertise to deliver accurate tax solutions in everyday language.
• Create an exceptional customer experience through professionalism and genuine client focus.
• Build long-term relationships and grow the local TurboTax client base with marketing support.
