Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States.

You will provide in-person tax preparation, tax advice, and software support while helping customers navigate complex tax situations. This role emphasizes community engagement, building long-term relationships, and contributing to local growth with marketing support and product tools.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience and deep knowledge of tax law.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform; front-facing retail environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Be a proactive community ambassador representing TurboTax locally.
• Engage with new prospects, nurture leads, and convert prospects into long-term clients.
• Lead and participate in local marketing activities with TurboTax support.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to maximize deductions and refunds.
• Deliver accurate tax solutions using government resources, professional tools, and team expertise.
• Create an exceptional customer experience and build long-term trust with clients.
• Interact with customers in-person and via Intuit’s video tools; address inquiries and tax challenges.
