Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Retail Experts to join on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will serve as a trusted tax advisor, helping customers with hands-on tax return preparation and personalized tax advice using TurboTax software.

This non-exempt, on-site position emphasizes community engagement and growth of TurboTax’s client base, delivering exceptional in-person service and building lasting relationships within the local market.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Must have an active PTIN to file taxes.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sundays through Saturdays, for at least 20 hours per week.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax return preparation, tax advice, calculations, and software/product support for TurboTax customers.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Create an exceptional customer experience through professionalism and genuine interest in helping clients achieve their financial goals.
• Interact with customers in-person and through Intuit’s video communication tools.
