Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is hiring TurboTax - Retail Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location in the United States. You will deliver hands-on tax preparation, tax advice, and software support while building trusted relationships in your local community.

As part of a collaborative team of financial professionals, you’ll grow the client base, engage with prospects, and provide a best-in-class customer experience through clear explanations, friendly service, and proactive outreach.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience with deep knowledge of tax law preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform.
• Must be willing to work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador: represent TurboTax locally, engage prospects, nurture leads, and convert them into long-term clients.
• Lead local marketing with TurboTax and make taxes accessible to the community.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide tax planning advice.
• Utilize government sites, professional tools, and team expertise to deliver accurate tax solutions in everyday language.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professionalism and genuine interest in helping clients reach financial goals.
• Build long-term trust to turn transactions into multi-year relationships.
• Interact with customers in-person and via Intuit’s video tools.
• Address client inquiries while helping overcome tax-related challenges.
