Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is hiring TurboTax Retail Experts to assist customers in-person at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location. You will perform tax preparation, offer tax advice, and use software to support clients in a friendly, approachable way.

You will help grow the local client base, build trust, and deliver personalized tax solutions while engaging with the community and leveraging marketing resources.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience and deep knowledge of tax law preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content for the community.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform.
• Must be willing to work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a proactive community ambassador.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience and help clients achieve financial goals.
