Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks TurboTax Retail Expert to work on-site at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location in the United States, serving in-person customers with tax expertise.

You’ll provide full-service tax return preparation, tax advice, and software support, building relationships with clients and growing the local client base with marketing support. The role is non-exempt, part-time (minimum 20 hours/week), and involves engaging with the community, wearing a TurboTax uniform, and delivering

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license required.
• Must have or be able to obtain PTIN to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 tax returns per season.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must work onsite at a TurboTax location, Sunday–Saturday, at least 20 hours/week.
• Willingness to build local/community presence and content.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Must wear a TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax preparation, tax advice, calculations, and software support.
• Conduct discovery sessions and reviews to optimize deductions, reduce tax liability, and plan future taxes.
• Represent TurboTax locally to grow client base and drive loyalty.
• Deliver excellent customer experience in-person and via TurboTax tools.
• Collaborate with marketing and leverage TurboTax resources.
