Job summary

Intuit is seeking motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Retail team as on-site Retail Experts at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations nationwide. You will provide in-person tax preparation, expert advice, and software support to customers, while growing a loyal local client base through community engagement.

Ideal candidates have active EA/CPA/attorney credentials, extensive tax filing experience, and a willingness to work in a front-facing retail setting.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax law preferred.
• Must have or be able to obtain PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain any related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 returns per tax season using professional tax software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sundays through Saturdays, for at least 20 hours per week; hours may scale up during peak demand.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax content per Intuit policies.
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual ability a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be a proactive community ambassador, representing TurboTax locally and serving as a public face in the community.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for customers, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professionalism and genuine interest in helping clients meet financial goals.
• Develop client relationships and grow the local TurboTax client base with marketing support and resources.
