Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking highly motivated TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will deliver hands-on tax return preparation, advice, and software support to in-person customers while growing the local client base and fostering long-term relationships.

Ideal candidates hold EA/CPA/attorney licenses, 3+ years of tax prep experience, and are comfortable with in-store marketing and community outreach. Must reside in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• Must have or be able to obtain any related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sundays–Saturdays, for a minimum of 20 hours per week; hours may scale up during peak demand.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content.
• Must reside within the United States.
• PTIN required to file taxes.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Utilize government sites, professional tools, and team expertise to deliver accurate tax solutions in everyday language.
• Create an exceptional customer experience through professionalism and genuine interest in helping clients achieve financial goals.
• Connect with people to build long-term trust and turn one-time transactions into multi-year relationships.
• Interact with customers in-person and through Intuit’s video tools.
