Rural King is seeking a Mechanic I to diagnose, service, and repair customer and company-owned equipment in our in-store repair shop. The role covers small engines, tractors, diesel equipment, hydraulic systems, and outdoor power equipment, with responsibilities including work orders, parts, warranty claims, and customer service.

You will use diagnostic software, multimeters, service tools, manuals, schematics, and diagrams to identify issues and complete repairs, while adhering to safety and

Formación

• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing small engines, diesel engines, and hydraulics.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and schematics.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, repair, and maintain equipment.
• Manage repair work orders, parts, and warranty claims.
• Perform preventive maintenance and intermediate-level service.
• Use diagnostic software and tools to identify issues and complete repairs.
• Document repair progress, parts used, and next steps.
• Communicate recommendations and updates to customers.
• Assist with equipment sales and customer education when needed.
• Load/unload equipment for repairs and service.
• Operate shop tools safely and maintain a clean work area.
• Participate in cross-training and ongoing technical training.
• Uphold Rural King values in daily work.
