Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Framingham, MA is hiring an In-Store Shopper to prepare online orders for delivery or pickup. You’ll work on the Customer Service & E-Commerce teams, shopping throughout the store for everyday goods, including produce, meat, dairy and more. Flexibility to work Saturdays, Sundays, nights, and holidays is required.

No retail experience is required; 18+ and English proficiency are needed. Expect 4–8 hour shifts with a pay range of $19.00–$25.40 per hour.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Sufficient English language proficiency to prepare and shop customer orders.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills online orders efficiently, accurately and with a sense of urgency using handheld technology and/or fixed devices
• Ensure product and order accuracy through meticulous verification and quality control processes
• Learn and apply product knowledge, customer service standards, and store operations to deliver exceptional customer experiences
• Keep staging area organized and free of clutter
• Handle in-store and online order returns and pickups
• Comply with government regulations such as age verification requirements for restricted items
• Assist with customer inquiries and provide store information
• Maintain knowledge of product and promotional events
• Maintain a positive work environment
• Communicate clearly, collaboratively and courteously
• Attend all meetings assigned by Leadership, including daily huddles
• Support company program and initiatives, inclusive of varied checkout options, store formats and all product assortment, tools, and technology
• Maintains operational standards including but not limited to safety and store security protocols
• Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Performs other duties as assigned by store or company leadership
