Job summary

A.J. Perri Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling is hiring In-Store Sales Representatives/Lead Generators to represent HVAC and plumbing services inside national home improvement retail stores in North Bergen, NJ.

Experience in retail or sales is welcome, but not required. You will earn $20 per hour plus uncapped commission with an average potential of $20–$30/hour. Flexible part-time and full-time schedules are available.

Responsibilities

As an In-Store Sales Representative Lead Generator, you will:

• Engage with customers in a retail store environment.
• Approach shoppers and start friendly, professional conversations.
• Ask questions to understand customers' home comfort needs.
• Educate customers about HVAC, plumbing, tune-ups, replacements, and indoor air quality solutions.
• Generate qualified leads and schedule in-home consultations or service appointments.
• Represent the ARS brand professionally and enthusiastically.
• Work toward individual and team lead‑generation goals.
• Provide a positive customer experience from the first conversation.

Qualifications

What You Need:

You don't need HVAC experience to be successful. We are looking for people who are:

• Outgoing personality and willingness to speak with shoppers
• Retail, kiosk, Door-to-Door, or sales experience preferred (not required)
• Ability to stand and walk during shifts
• Weekend and some holiday availability
• Reliable transportation
• Clean, professional appearance representing the ARS brand
• Ability to attend weekly in-office meetings
• Employment is contingent on a background check in accordance with applicable law
