Job summary

Linde plc in Provo, Utah seeks an in-store salesperson and customer service representative. You will handle phone orders, assist customers at the counter, and support warehouse operations including moving cylinders.

You will also back the Outside Sales team and promote gas and equipment products. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1+ year in service/sales, and a Class B CDL with Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain within 60 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED is required.
• 1+ year(s) of Customer Service/Inside Sales/Counter Sales preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Valid Class B CDL is required.
• Hazmat Endorsement on CDL or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive and enter telephone orders, answer questions, resolve challenges, and trace order status or shipments.
• Serve customers through counter sales in the retail store.
• Conduct warehouse duties, including moving cylinders.
• Provide sales support to the Outside Sales team.
• Promote add-on sales of gases and accessories and conduct product demonstrations.
• Maintain customer records and pricing, and perform outbound calls to customers.
• Sell products at minimum discount to achieve target margins and support other locations as needed.
