Job summary

Linde is seeking a Customer Service / Inside Sales representative in Lowell, MA to handle telephone orders, answer questions, resolve issues, and trace order status or shipments. You will also assist at the counter and support warehouse duties when needed.

Responsibilities include promoting add‑on gas or hardware sales, maintaining accurate customer records, making outbound calls, and supporting the Outside Sales team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of customer service / inside sales / counter sales preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• No DUI/DWI or other alcohol-related driving convictions in the last 10 years.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive and enter telephone orders and assist customers.
• Answer questions, resolve challenges, and trace order status or shipments.
• Serve customers at the counter and support warehouse duties.
• Provide sales support to the Outside Sales team.
• Promote add-on sales of gases and high-margin accessories.
• Maintain customer records and pricing accuracy.
• Conduct outbound calls to retail and small customers.
• Aim for target margins and support other locations as needed.
