Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. in Lowell, MA is seeking an In-Store Sales Associate to support customers at the counter, handle telephone orders, and assist the Outside Sales team. You will conduct warehouse duties and promote gas products and accessories to meet sales targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• 1+ year in Customer Service / Inside Sales / Counter Sales preferred.
• Must have excellent customer service skills with no DUI/DWI in the last 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Receive and enter telephone orders, answer questions, resolve issues and trace orders or shipments.
• Serve customers through counter sales in the store.
• Conduct warehouse duties, including moving cylinders for customers.
• Provide sales support to the Outside Sales team.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate products, equipment, and programs.
• Promote add-on sales of gases and high-margin accessories and conduct product demos.
• Maintain customer records and pricing, ensure proper account setup.
• Perform outbound calls to retail and small 'B' customers.
• Sell products at minimum discount to achieve target margins and support other locations as needed.

• You will perform customer service activities, including receiving and entering telephone orders, answering questions, resolving challenges, and tracing order status or product shipments
• Serve customers through counter sales in the retail store
• Conduct warehouse duties, including moving cylinders for customers
• And you will provide sales support to the Outside Sales team
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate products, equipment, and programs
• You will promote add-on sales of gases and high-margin hard goods accessories and conduct product demonstrations as an in-store sales representative
• Further, you will maintain customer records and files, ensuring accurate account setup and pricing
• Perform outbound calls to retail and small 'B' customers
• You will sell products at minimum discount to achieve target margins and occasionally support additional locations

What Makes You Great

• You have a high school diploma / GED
• More than one (1+) year(s) of Customer Service / Inside Sales / Counter Sales is preferred
• You should have excellent customer service skills to be successful in this role
• Further, you do not have a DUI / DWI or other alcohol (driving) related convictions within the last ten (10) years
• You are able to lift 50 lbs

Pay Range: $22.91-$33.61
