Job summary

Club Demonstration Services (CDS) is seeking an Event Manager to recruit, train, and supervise in-store product demonstrators and manage event operations. You will oversee product preparation and presentation, ensure food safety and sanitation, and coordinate training to ensure excellent customer service during demonstrations.

Responsibilities include directing event activities, communicating strategic plans to teammates and vendors, and supporting leadership in cost control and performance

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in a client-side, branded, consumer-packaged goods company; or a combination of supplier-side and client-side experience.
• High school education or equivalent is also acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Direct all activities engaged in successful events, promotion and sales of vendor products.
• Communicate strategies and tactics to achieve sales, service and operational excellence.
• Support the maintenance and development of governance framework, policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the District Manager to evaluate event performance metrics and adjust as needed.
• Achieve defined revenue and net income objectives through sales activation and expense management.
