Job summary

Club Demonstration Services (CDS) is seeking an Event Manager to recruit, hire, and supervise in-store Product Demonstrators. You will oversee product preparation, training, and customer service, coordinating with warehouse managers, vendors, and demonstrators, including participation in new location grand openings.

The role offers a set Tue-Sat schedule, strong benefits, paid time off, and opportunities to lead field teams across Costco locations.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3-5 years in retail, hospitality, or food environments.
• Detail oriented with leadership and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead well performing teams.
• Ability to coach and counsel employees and exercise independent judgement.
• Flexible and able to work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct activities for successful events, promotion and sales of vendor products.
• Communicate strategies and tactics to achieve sales, service and operational excellence.
• Support the maintenance and development of corporate governance policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the District Manager to evaluate event performance metrics and adjust as needed.
• Achieve defined revenue and net income objectives through sales activation and cost management.
