Job summary

Club Demonstration Services (CDS) is seeking an Event Manager to recruit, hire and supervise in-store Product Demonstrators, overseeing product prep and presentation, training and superb service to Costco members.

This role requires strong communication with warehouse managers, vendors and demonstrators, including participation in new location grand openings. Set Tuesday–Saturday schedule and full-time benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is required or to have a comparable background.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating staff in retail or hospitality environments is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with multiple stakeholders and manage shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train and hire part-time staff.
• Oversee product preparation and presentation, including food safety and sanitation.
• Train Demonstrators in demonstration preparation and customer service.
• Coordinate between managers, vendors and demonstrators.
• Participate in new location grand openings as needed.
