Job summary

Crossmark Inc. is seeking a part-time Associate to perform in-store food and non-food demonstrations, acquire product knowledge, and present products to consumers in a professional manner.

The role involves preparing and serving samples, maintaining a clean work space, and collaborating with store personnel. The position requires basic computer skills, the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and the willingness to travel occasionally.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer Skills: Proficient in using a personal computer or mobile device with internal systems.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local food handlers permit may be required.
• Physical Demands: Standing/walking, lifting up to 25 pounds (up to 50 occasionally), exposure to cleaning supplies.
• Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
• Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel.
• Language Skills: English is the primary language; bilingual may be required.

Responsibilities

• Possesses the aptitude to gain knowledge of products represented.
• Intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
• Effectively communicate product features and benefits.
• Prepare and serve food samples using appliances like microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers and knives.
• Maintain a clean, sterile and safe work station with cleaning chemicals.
• Builds and maintains rapport with store personnel to meet objectives.
• Complete expense reports as per Company Policy.
• Submit online requirements on the same day as Event execution.
• Access the internet, navigate company systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view documents.
