Job summary

Crossmark is seeking an Associate to perform in-store food and non-food demonstrations in a retail setting. You will learn the products, engage customers, and demonstrate features while maintaining a professional appearance.

This part-time role typically stays under 25 hours per week, with flexibility for business needs. You will prepare, serve, and break down products and setups, and complete required online submissions on the day of events.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience; or equivalent combo.
• Computer Skills: Proficient using PC or mobile device with applications and internal systems.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local Food handlers permit may be required.
• Physical Demands: Stand/walk, lift up to 25 lbs, reach overhead, use hands and fingers, read instructions.

Responsibilities

• Gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
• Intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
• Communicate product features and benefits effectively.
• Prepare and serve food samples using appliances like microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers and knives.
• Maintain a clean, safe work station with cleaning chemicals.
• Set up and prepare Event Table for execution.
• Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
• Assist with client visit preparation and audit corrections.
• Build rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
• Complete expense reports per Company Policy.
• Submit on-line requirements on the day of Event execution.
• Access the internet and internal systems, use Microsoft Outlook, Word and Adobe PDF forms.
