In-Store Product Demonstration Specialist

Job summary

CROSSMARK is seeking an Associate to perform in-store food and non-food demonstrations, acquire product knowledge, and engage customers in a professional retail setting.

You will prepare, serve, and break down product samples using small appliances, and maintain a clean, safe workstation while presenting products confidently to shoppers. This part-time role is limited to 25 hours per week in a retail environment.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months’ related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer Skills: Proficient in ability to use and navigate on a personal computer or personal mobile device using applications and internal systems.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local Food handlers permit may be required.
• Physical Demands: Stand and walk for the shift; lift up to 25 pounds (occasional up to 50 pounds); operate appliances and cleaning supplies.

Responsibilities

• Possesses the aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
• Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
• Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
• Prepare and serve food samples using microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers and knives.
• Maintain a clean, sterile and safe work station.
• Sets up and prepares Event Table for execution.
• Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
• Assist with preparation for client visits and audit corrections.
• Build rapport with store personnel to meet objectives.
• Complete expense reports per Company Policy.
• Submit all online requirements on the same day as Event execution.
• Access internet and navigate internal systems including Word & PDF forms.
