Job summary

Crossmark seeks an associate to perform in-store food and non-food demonstrations in retail environments. You will acquire product knowledge, prepare, serve, and break down products and supplies while maintaining a professional appearance.

Responsibilities include demonstrating features, engaging customers, and ensuring accurate event execution. The role is part-time (up to 25 hours/week) with emphasis on reliability and good communication.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience or training preferred; or equivalent combination.
• Computer Skills: Proficient in using a personal computer or mobile device with internal systems.
• Certificates; Licenses; Registrations: Local Food handlers permit may be required.
• Physical Demands: Stand/walk, lift up to 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally), reach, stoop, bend, etc.
• Work Environment: Retail store environment with possible limited travel.
• Language Skills: English; bilingual may be required.

Responsibilities

• Intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers.
• Effectively communicate features and benefits of the product.
• Prepare and serve food samples with microwaves, fryers, skillets, etc.
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation with cleaning supplies.
• Set up and prep Event Table for execution and 100% execution.
• Complete expense reports and online requirements on the same day as events.
