Wynwood Dog Food Co. in South Miami, FL is seeking a part-time Retail Customer Specialist to help pet parents choose meals, treats, and supplements.

You will build relationships, educate customers on basic dietary needs, and support daily store operations using POS systems and inventory routines. Ideal candidates have prior retail or customer service experience, love for dogs, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Previous retail and/or customer service experience is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and assist in-store customers while responding to inquiries.
• Organized with good time-management and attention to detail.
• Passion for dogs and interest in pet health.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers—and their dogs—in the store, providing recommendations for meals, treats, supplements, and Wynwood Dog Food Co. products
• Develop and apply product and pet nutrition knowledge to educate and guide customers
• Build and maintain customer relationships through follow-up and ongoing support
• Manage day-to-day retail operations, including merchandising, inventory, store organization, opening/closing procedures, and POS transactions
• Handle inbound and outbound calls and emails related to orders, delivery updates, product questions, and issue resolution
• Balance and prioritize in-store interactions and customer support responsibilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on daily coordination and process improvements
• Operate with ownership and self-sufficiency in a multi-hat role
• Follow all company policies including safety, security, inventory, and POS operations
