Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking an energetic Event Coordinator to manage in-store events and ensure a fun, engaging guest experience at our Meridian, ID location. You will plan and coordinate activities including kids parties, teach simple crafts, and assist customers with shopping and checkout.

Responsibilities include event coordination for multiple activities, face painting and activities, add-on sales, and maintaining store cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate events in-store (including kids birthdays) to deliver a fun guest experience.
• Deliver friendly customer service and assist shoppers, including checkout.
• Complete operational tasks: unload trucks, merchandise duties, and maintain store recovery standards.
• Coordinate multiple events, show products, and upsell add-ons.
• Support store cleanliness, safety programs, and SOP adherence.
