Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Laveen, AZ is seeking an Event Coordination Associate to plan and run events, including kids birthdays, inside our store.

You will engage customers, help them shop, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience while upholding brand standards. Responsibilities include crafting engaging activities, face painting, coordinating add-ons, answering emails, and maintaining store readiness.

Qualifications

• Energetic and enthusiastic personality with strong people skills.

• Experience working with children and coordinating children's events is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple events at once, including children's parties and classes.

• Assist customers, process checkouts, and handle store tasks per SOPs.
• Communicate with clients and team, answer emails, and maintain cleanliness.
