Job summary

The Merchandise Manager at Michaels Stores drives merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards. This role ensures accurate pricing, timely promotional execution, and a customer-ready store environment through strong workload planning and inventory management.

Minimum 3+ years retail leadership experience; responsible for SOP adherence, MOD coverage, and development of team members in a fast-paced retail setting.

• Experience leading store teams and implementing SOPs.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Oversee truck execution, merchandise flow, pricing accuracy, and promotions.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization; align staffing with business needs.
• Manage inventory control, replenishment, and in-stock optimization.
• Execute price changes, promotional signage, and POS readiness.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment, RTVs, and ASN receiving.
