Job summary

American Residential Services (ARS) is hiring In-Store Sales Lead Generators to engage customers inside major home-improvement retail locations in Charlottesville, VA. This is a high-energy sales role focused on customer engagement, lead generation, and booking free in-home consultations.

The position offers hourly pay with uncapped commissions and flexible part-time or full-time opportunities. Training is provided, with weekly in-office meetings and opportunities for advancement into HVAC sales

Qualifications

Outgoing personality and willingness to speak with shoppers.
Retail or sales experience preferred.
Ability to stand and walk during shifts.
Weekend and some holiday availability.
Reliable transportation.
Professional appearance representing the ARS brand.
Attend weekly in-office meetings.
Employment is contingent on a background check.

Responsibilities

Start friendly, face-to-face conversations with shoppers about home comfort, energy efficiency, and indoor air quality.
Act as a Brand Ambassador by educating customers on ARS heating and cooling services and home improvement solutions.
Generate leads and schedule free in-home consultations.
Enter customer information and book appointments for ARS specialists.
Represent ARS with a professional and positive in-store presence.
Support in-store promotions alongside retail management and ARS team members.
