Job summary

Preferred Floor & Tile CO. is seeking a Sales & Lead Development Specialist to drive in-store lead generation and customer engagement, guiding potential clients toward in-home consultations for flooring and tile installations.

The role requires prospecting, converting leads to appointments, and managing follow-up communications to maximize conversion rates while meeting performance targets. Weekend/evening shifts may be necessary to support business demands.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of related lead generation, retail floor sales, or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and memos; strong English communication required.
• Experience with marketing automation tools and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
• Proficient computer skills including spreadsheets, databases, email, and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute in-store customer engagement to identify and convert leads for in-home consultations.
• Evaluate customer needs and project scope to recommend services.
• Collaborate with retail team to drive customer service and sales.
• Coordinate and schedule in-home installation estimates with customers.
• Attend in-home consultations, complete measurements, and review scope with customers.
• Educate customers on services, offerings, pricing, and solutions.
