Job summary

Living Spaces is hiring a Sales Designer to assist in-store guests with a design-first selling approach. You will analyze design requests, offer product recommendations, and present customized room concepts to drive sales.

The role emphasizes interior design knowledge, partnering with the team to ensure a high-quality guest experience while meeting revenue targets in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in interior design.
• 1–2 years in customer service, retail or furniture store.
• Vocational certificate or degree in interior design; internal certification required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage guests and apply the Living Spaces Guest Engagement Model.
• Determine guests' design goals and requirements.
• Provide design advice and product recommendations.
• Present customized room designs with fabrics, furniture and accessories.
• Maintain knowledge of merchandise lines, features and availability.
• Process transactions in the POS system.
• Complete required training and participate in ongoing learning.
• Support store team to delight guests and reach revenue targets.
