Job summary

Living Spaces seeks a Guest Engagement Associate to greet and assist in-store guests with a design-forward selling strategy. You will analyze design goals, offer product recommendations, and present customized room concepts using an evolving knowledge of fabrics, furniture, and accessories.

You will maintain up-to-date design knowledge, help process transactions, complete training, and support the store team to meet revenue targets while ensuring the store is ready for a Grand Opening.

Qualifications

• AA or AS in interior design or equivalent
• 1–2 years experience in customer service, retail, or furniture store
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage guests and execute sales proficiency using Living Spaces Guest Engagement Model
• Determine guests’ design goals and requirements
• Provide design advice, product knowledge, and recommendations
• Present customized room designs with fabrics, furniture, tables and accessories
• Maintain current knowledge of merchandise features and availability
• Process customer transactions in the POS system
