Job summary

Living Spaces in the United States is seeking an in-store Design Sales Associate to service guests with a selling strategy aligned to our Guest Engagement Model, emphasizing interior design. You will handle design appointments, analyze client requests, and recommend customized room solutions.

The role requires 1–2 years in customer service or retail, an Associate degree in interior design, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; knowledge of design software is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (A.A. or A.S.) or equivalent in interior design.
• 1-2 years experience in customer service, retail, or furniture store.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage guests and execute sales proficiency using our Guest Engagement Model.
• Determine guests’ goals and requirements of their design project.
• Provide design advice, product knowledge, and recommendations.
• Present customized room designs with fabrics, furniture, tables and accessories.
• Maintain knowledge of merchandise lines; product features, benefits and availability.
• Master product knowledge and brand design inspiration.
• Process customer transactions in the POS system.
• Complete required training and participate in ongoing learning opportunities.
• Support store team to delight guests and achieve revenue targets.
• Ensure store is Grand Opening ready by completing daily tasks and style guides.
• Ability to work weekends and most holidays.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
