Job summary

Living Spaces Furniture seeks an in-store design-oriented associate to engage guests with our Guest Engagement Model and emphasize interior design during shopping experiences. The role includes serving scheduled design appointments, presenting customized room concepts, and guiding customers through product selections.

The candidate will maintain product knowledge, process sales, and support training while contributing to a high-performing store team and meeting revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in interior design; 1–2 years experience in customer service, retail or furniture store environment; equivalent combination considered.
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs; knowledge of design software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage guests and execute sales proficiency using the Living Spaces Guest Engagement Model.
• Determine guests’ goals and requirements of their design project.
• Provide design advice, product knowledge, and recommendations.
• Present customized room designs with fabrics, furniture, tables and accessories.
• Maintain knowledge of merchandise lines, features and availability.
• Master product knowledge and brand design inspiration.
• Process customer transactions in the POS system.
• Complete required training and participate in ongoing learning.
• Support store team to delight guests and hit revenue targets.
• Ensure store is ready for Grand Opening with daily tasks and style guides.
• Ability to work weekends and most holidays; fast-paced environment.
