Job summary

IKEA Gruppe in East Palo Alto is seeking a Customer Coordinator to support the in-store customer experience team. You will oversee day-to-day operations, handle opening/closing duties, and help enhance the shopping journey by collaborating with functions to boost co-worker knowledge.

The role requires 3 years of related experience and 1 year in a customer service environment. It is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours/week) with evenings and weekends, and a pay range of $24.72–$33.19 per

Qualifications

• 3 years of related experience.
• 1 year of experience in a customer service and customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations with Team Leader responsibilities.
• Troubleshoot and apply corrective actions including emergency and incident response.
• Enhance the shopping journey by collaborating with functions to boost co-worker knowledge.
• Ensure customers receive consistent information during their shopping journey.
• Record information in relevant systems to improve the customer's future shopping experience.
• Enhance customer relationships to boost sales and profitability.
• Offer alternative solutions meeting individual customer needs.
• Foster a team mindset focused on first time right for every customer.
• Participate in additional department duties to support daily operations.
• Promote IKEA culture that embraces diversity of co-workers and customers.
