Job summary

Crossmark Inc. is seeking an Associate to conduct in-store food and non-food demonstrations, share product knowledge, and engage shoppers with a professional approach.

You will help manage event equipment and prepare samples while upholding food safety standards. Responsibilities include supporting supervisors, coordinating with store personnel, documenting events with photos, and completing required reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Proficient ability to use a personal computer and mobile device.
• Food Safety Professional Certification, Local Food handlers permit if required.
• Ability to stand, walk and perform manual handling as needed.

Responsibilities

• Management and maintenance of the equipment and supplies used for events to ensure they are clean and secured in the backroom.
• When Supervisor is absent, communicate with store management about upcoming events and execution of past events.
• When Supervisor is absent, be the point person for all events being conducted in the store.
• Assist Supervisor by providing leadership and knowledge to the team.
• Acquire adequate knowledge of the products represented.
• Intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
• Prepare and serve food samples complying with food safety guidelines.
• Prepare foods using appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers and knives.
• Maintain a clean, sterile and safe workstation.
• Set up Event Table for execution.
• Complete all assigned work and prepare for client visits.
• Build rapport with store personnel to meet objectives.
• Complete expense reports per Company Policy.
• Submit online requirements on the same day as Event execution.
• Take digital photos of Perfect Table Setup for client success stories.
