Job summary

Crossmark Inc. is seeking a part-time Associate to conduct in-store food and non-food demonstrations and to maintain knowledge of products represented.

The role involves handling event equipment, engaging consumers, and selling products in a professional manner while ensuring food safety guidelines during sampling. Responsibilities include coordinating with store management in supervisors' absence, setting up event tables, and building strong relationships with store personnel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months' related experience or training.
• Proficient in using a personal computer and a mobile device with internal systems.
• Physical ability to stand/walk, lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds, and handle cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain event equipment and supplies in the store backroom.
• Communicate with store management about upcoming and past events when Supervisor is absent.
• Be the point person for events and assist other team members with kits, materials and tools.
• Lead and share product knowledge with the team and intercept and engage consumers to sell.
• Prepare and serve food samples safely using various appliances and maintain a clean workstation.
• Set up the Event Table and complete audit corrections as needed.
• Build rapport with store personnel and submit expense reports per policy.
• Take digital photos of the Perfect Table Setup to document success stories.
