Job summary

Crossmark Inc. is seeking a part-time Associate to perform in-store food and non-food demonstrations. You will learn product details, engage customers, and sell products while managing event equipment and maintaining a professional appearance.

The role emphasizes leadership in the absence of supervision, adherence to food safety guidelines, and preparing samples with standard kitchen appliances. Retail setting experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient ability to use a personal computer and mobile device using applications and internal systems.
• Food Safety Professional Certification; Local Food handlers permit if required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain equipment for in-store events; ensure cleanliness and secure placement in backroom areas.
• Act as point of contact in supervisor’s absence for event execution and coordination with store management.
• Lead and support team during events; communicate product features and benefits to consumers.
• Prepare and serve food samples safely using appliances like microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
• Travel limited; work in a retail store environment; maintain professional appearance and grooming.
